I purchased Camera and Housing for a trip to the BVI. Dove to 77 feet and no leaks or condensation. All the buttons worked. The only issue is the wheel can't be turned in the housing. To use underwater mode select it before you close the case. Then you can switch between movie, auto and underwater modes with the top sliding switch. I don't believe the weights are needed, slight positive bouyancy is ok. Large screen assists with composition. I got the best shots by turning the flash to always on. I used a little anti fog on the case lens and no problems.
Customer Review: Great waterproof case
Real simple. This case does what it is supposed to do, keep water out! It is made quite well. The materials used appear to be of a high quality. Operation of all buttons, switches, and knobs work without effort and are consistant in function. I just got back from a trip to Bonaire (32 dives) and this case worked flawlessly. No leaking including 2 dives down to 110'. Well done Canon. I didn't think it would be any different!
